Local 4-H Clubs Compete in State Competition
DEMING – Jack Blandford, Luna County Extension Agent, announced that local 4-H clubs are in Las Cruces this week, competing at New Mexico State University for the state competition.
Blandford reported that 14 local students from Luna County are participating in various events, including livestock judging, public speaking, and robotics.
This participation showcases the diverse talents and dedication of the local youth. The 4-H state competition wraps up today (Friday) at noon.
Notably, Almarae Schultz from Luna County placed in the top 5 in the entomology category, and Luna County also placed in the top 5 in the entomology category.
