DEMING – Recent arrests in Deming over the weekend highlight a range of offenses, from bench warrants to charges of aggravated DWI and criminal damage.
According to the Luna County Detention Center and the Deming Police Department, Marcos Valdez, 19, was booked on multiple charges, including resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer, concealing identity, and criminal damage to the property of a household member. Valdez was also charged with trespassing and remains in custody.
In another incident, Jason Robert Myers, 32, was arrested early on December 29 for aggravated DWI and open container violations. Myers is currently being held by the Deming Police Department.
Flavian Rodriguez, 24, Adrian Camacho-Reyes, 37, and Luis Anthony Valdez, 33, were all taken into custody on outstanding bench warrants. These warrants were issued for failures to appear in court across Deming Municipal Court, Luna Magistrate Court, and the 6th District Court.
Eric James Quintana, 39, was arrested for interference with officers, while Luis Cardenas-Granillo, 48, was booked for probation violations related to the 6th District Court.
Authorities continue to emphasize the importance of resolving legal obligations promptly to avoid escalated consequences. All cases are under investigation, and suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
