DEMING – Two female juveniles reported missing earlier this week have been found safe. Deming Police Chief Sergio Lara told Deming Radio News that officers located the girls after a community member contacted authorities to report their whereabouts.
According to the Deming Police Department, runaway juveniles Alexa Ramirez and Jenny Aguirre were safely located on October 10, 2025, after reportedly visiting a friend. The friend’s mother quickly notified law enforcement, which allowed for a swift response from officers.
Both juveniles were safely returned to their guardians, and Specialized Care Increment referrals were made to ensure their well-being. Their runaway status has since been removed from the National Crime Information Center database.
Police Chief Lara expressed gratitude to the community for their cooperation and assistance, noting that the safety of local youth remains one of the department’s top priorities.
