DEMING – The Deming City Council has rescheduled its upcoming meeting, moving it one week later than originally planned.
City Manager Aaron Sera told Deming News the change was made to allow city staff to attend mandatory training sessions.
The meeting will now take place Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 1275 E. Pine Street in Deming.
City officials say public comment will be held prior to the meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Residents who wish to speak must sign up between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. At this time, public comment will not be available virtually and must be made in person.
City representatives say this updated public comment process will begin with the March 24 meeting and continue moving forward.
The meeting agenda and additional details are available online at cityofdeming.org.
