DEMING – Starting October 9th, all Columbus bus students will be assigned a specific bus number for the entire school year.
To assist younger students, each bus number will also have an associated color. Every student will receive a bus pass attached to their backpack, which includes their name and assigned bus number.
Parents are reminded to ensure their children keep the pass on their backpacks to ensure they board the correct bus daily.
According to a Deming School media release, important changes to the schedule include buses leaving the Port of Entry bus stop at 7:30 a.m. for the first run and 7:45 a.m. for the second.
To avoid missing the bus, students should arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.
