DEMING – The City of Deming will shut down all departments on Friday, Feb. 28, due to a planned power outage at City Hall. Officials say construction work will require an all-day interruption of electrical service, impacting city operations.
Residents are encouraged to complete any necessary business with city offices before the closure. Essential services, including police, fire, and emergency responders, will not be affected. Utility payments can still be made online or through the city’s drop-box locations.
City officials say normal operations will resume on Monday, March 3. For more information, residents can visit the city’s website or call ahead before the closure date.
