DEMING – Over the weekend, local law enforcement made several arrests involving outstanding warrants and new criminal charges, according to the Deming Police Department and the Luna County Detention Center.
Julianna Ibarra, age 24, was taken into custody on a 6th Judicial District Court warrant for failure to comply with conditions of the court. In a separate case, 36-year-old Antoinette Chavez was arrested on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant charged with failure to pay fines.
Caleb J. Bazor, 24, was booked on criminal trespassing.
John Gabriel Morales, age 50, was arrested on multiple charges. In addition to two bench warrants, One 6th Judicial District Court warrant for failure to comply with a court order, and on a Deming Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.
Jerry Castillo, 51, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, resisting, evading or eluding officer, failure to have lights on bicycles, and two warrants for failure to appear.
Carlos Ransdell, age 31, was taken into custody on disorderly conduct and injuring or defacing property.
Also arrested was Alex Gabriel Ransdell, 22, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a health care worked, battery on a peace officer and assault upon a peace officer.
Tiffany Harris, age 34, was booked on burglary charges.
Finally, 48-year-old Jeremy Ziller was arrested for false imprisonment and causing criminal damage to property of a household member.
All persons mentioned in this report are to be considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
