DEMING – Deming High School has announced important details regarding state assessments scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
10th graders and selected 11th graders will take the PSAT 10/NMSQT. Students must arrive by 8:40 a.m. or they will not be allowed to test. Late arrivals will be sent home, with make-up sessions scheduled later. Those completing the exam on October 15 will receive a “Golden Ticket” to replace one class assignment.
12th graders will participate in the ASVAB assessment. They must also arrive by 8:40 a.m., with no late arrivals admitted. Students testing on October 15 will also earn a Golden Ticket to replace one assignment.
9th and 11th graders not testing will not attend school in person that day. Instead, they will take part in remote learning on October 15.
Additional notes:
- Students will not be released early on testing day.
- After assessments, students will take part in a Field Day with outdoor activities hosted by the National Guard.
