DEMING – The Deming Rotary Club, in collaboration with other Rotarians across New Mexico, will send four local teenagers to the Rotary Leadership Training in Mountainair, New Mexico. Located in the scenic Manzano Mountains, this one-week camp aims to develop leadership skills among youth.
Two boys and two girls from Deming will join other regional participants in Las Cruces this Saturday before heading to the camp. Linda Lindsay, a representative of the local Rotarians, told Deming Radio News that this retreat focuses on equipping local youth with leadership skills essential for their future success.
