Deming Fire Department Hosts Community Open House
DEMING – The Deming Fire Department invites the community to their downtown station for an Open House on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Fire Chief Joe Owen emphasized the department’s commitment to community engagement, stating, “We want to open our doors so the community can understand what it takes to be a firefighter. We are a family-friendly department with a lot to share.”
The event promises something for everyone, including burgers and hot dogs prepared by local firefighters, activities, and obstacles for both kids and adults, along with educational opportunities about the firefighting profession in Deming.
