
DEMING – Deming Public Schools is implementing a significant change to its automated attendance notification system, effective August 19, 2024. The district will discontinue the use of automated voice calls for attendance notifications, replacing them with a more streamlined and efficient communication process.
Moving forward, attendance notifications will be delivered through the following methods:
- Text Messages: Notifications will be sent directly to your mobile phone.
- Campus Parent Portal: Parents and guardians can view attendance updates and messages by logging into the Campus Parent Portal.
- Email: Attendance notifications will be delivered to the email address on file.
This change is designed to enhance communication speed and efficiency, ensuring that important attendance information reaches families promptly. Voice calls will now be reserved exclusively for emergency situations.
Deming Public Schools encourages all parents and guardians to verify and update their contact information in the system to ensure they receive these notifications without interruption. For assistance with updating contact details or for any questions about the new process, parents are urged to contact their child’s school directly.
