New Detention Officers Sworn In at Luna County
DEMING – A new class of Detention Officers at the Luna County Detention Center was officially sworn in during Thursday morning’s Luna County Commission meeting.
The officers, now certified in New Mexico, completed extensive classroom and on-the-job training. Their duties include overseeing inmate security, maintaining order within the facility, and ensuring the safety of staff and inmates.
This marks a significant step in enhancing the county’s detention capabilities.
