New Mexico State Police Arrest Felon Wanted by U.S. Marshals Service

DEMING – On December 27th, New Mexico State Police, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service and the New Mexico Department of Corrections, arrested 25-year-old Robert Jimenez at a Santa Fe home.

Jimenez, who was wanted for a probation violation related to a prior felony firearms conviction, has a long history of violent crimes.

The NMSP Tactical Team assisted in the arrest, which was made without incident.

During the arrest, officers recovered a firearm in Jimenez’s possession. He is currently held at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
